We are proud to announce that after the sales of our very own ‘Chester Zoo’ Charity Ambient Picnic pack which was sold on board Thompson Airways for a period of 6 months and National Express Rail Network for a period of 2 weeks a grand total of £3,000 was raised on behalf of the Chester Zoo charity.

The cheque was presented to Chester Zoo by Linda Whittaker (Sales & Marketing Director) and Shona Tomkinson (Senior Sales & Marketing Executive) on Friday 4th September. Skytrac pride themselves on supporting both local and national Trusts and Charities and we will be shortly reviewing further charities to support in 2010.

Having worked hard since our original meeting at Tourvest Uk Ltd on the 29th of June with Richard Curtis (Marketing Manager) and Alyssa Stillwell (Executive Assistant) we have now received confirmation from them to supply our first five new on-board retail consumption products. These products will support the BRAND NEW Buy on Board concept with Virgin Atlantic which is due to commence middle of September this year.

Skytrac are also working with Ultra Marine Partnership Ltd to support an advert within the Virgin Atlantic ‘Retail Therapy’ brochure to assist in the successful launch of these new products on board. This is an exciting new direction for both Tourvest and Virgin Atlantic and a great privilege for Skytrac to be involved at such an early stage. We are looking forward to a continued successful working relationship with Tourvest UK Ltd.

On the 14th September 2009 Commissaire (EDI) started assisting Gate Aviation in servicing the easyJet operation based at that station.

EasyJet have four Airbus A319 aircraft based at EDI servicing International and domestic destinations. Initial departures are loaded with bar sets and a selection of chilled consumables for sale onboard. During the day the aircraft operate additional rotations requiring replacement consumables in order to maintain chill chain requirements.
