High Sheriff Awards

Skytrac ‘Highly Commended’ for the Mornflake Oats Award for Innovation at recent High Sheriff Awards for Enterprise.
The awards were announced at a ceremony and dinner held in the Molloy Hall at Chester University on the 29th March 2012 with guest speaker Dr Pete Waterman OBE,DL, Record Producer and lifelong Entrepreneur.
The current High Sheriff of Chester, Jason Lee, awarded Skytrac ‘Highly Commended’ in the Innovation category which was one of three covering Enterprise, Corporate Social Responsibility and Innovation.
A record number of entrants from across Cheshire entered the Sheriff Awards 2011 which has been running since 2006 and to come Highly Commended in the Innovation category is a massive honour and great accolade to our team here at Skytrac.
Skytrac entered the awards back in January and were short listed for a visit from the judging panel at our offices in Cholmondeley in February for a presentation. Skytrac had the following criteria to be judged against…....
Organisations recognised with this award will demonstrate a proven ability to create, nurture and develop new products or services. Qualifiers of this award are required to demonstrate how they have differentiated themselves from others in their industry. Achievements can include, but are not limited to the invention, design, production, performance, marketing and distribution of their product or service.
It was an excellent project to be involved in and really brought home to me actually what Skytrac have achieved over the years and how we have shown innovative ways of evolving to the ever changing environment and needs of the travel sector.
Receiving the Certificate of Highly Commended was the icing on the cake.
